About the Event

'Global Britain: The UK as a leader for gender equality'

CYW is delighted to partner with the Coalition for Global Prosperity to discuss the role of Global Britain in achieving SDG 5 - equality for women and girls. The event will be chaired by Ella Robertson McKay, Chair of Conservative Young Women, and speakers will include 

  • Theo Clarke MP
  • Nimco Ali OBE
  • Charlotte Leslie, Chair of the Conservative Middle East Council

The event will explore how Global Britain can continue to be a force for good in the world, holding up democracy and human rights on the world stage, so that all women and girls have equal rights, so that they can fulfil their potential.

The event will take place from 18.00-19.00 on Monday 8th February.
