Thank you CYW – a special message from Matt Hancock

The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, the Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP has sent a message to Conservative Young Women thanking them for the work the organisation does to “make sure that this Party reflects the whole of modern Britain”.

Acknowledging the difficulties of 2020 “an extraordinary and terrible year” Hancock reflected that the “horizon is in sight, the dawn is about to come”, allowing the Conservative Party to “get on with the agenda on which we were elected a year ago – to build back better, to level up.”

He finished by recognising the work that CYW has done this year: “I want to say thank you specifically to (CYW) – for the work you’re doing, the support you’re giving to the Party – it’s so important.”

Matt Hancock has participated in two CYW online events this year – in June and at Party Conference for his first 2020 Party Conference engagement – where he answered questions from CYW members about the future of the NHS.

On behalf of CYW, we wish to return the thanks and say a huge thank you to Matt and his team for all their hard work this year to keep our country safe, as well at Matt’s staunch support of CYW. Congratulations to the team on their fantastic work on the vaccine programme – we hope you and your families have a very merry Christmas.
